Hi all - I am back with another card for the CDAC progressive challenge.  I knew when I got my image for this challenge what I wanted to do with it.  Gotta give a shout out to CDAC and Doodle Pantry for making this image available.  I love my little white pigs and couldn't help but use the sentiment - Dare To Be Different.  I wonder if this little pig would get bullied because he or she was different.

CDAC Progressive Challenge

I participated in the Crafter's Digital Art Center Challenge for our 2nd round of progressive challenges.  I created Halloween Cat and would like to thank Priscilla Styles Store for providing the image for the challenge.

 

I had other ideas in my head for the Halloween Cat but, I just couldn't pull all of my ideas together on paper.  Hope you enjoy!

August Challenge

Okay so, I hosted a challenge last month where my participants were to create either a card or scrapbook page out of the cattie.  And because our judges loved all of the entries we decided to use random number generator to pick the winning entry.  Card #3 won for this month.   Now you just have to wait till tomorrow to find out who had card # 3.

I have a gathering this Saturday and my customers received or will receive  an invitation that included a ticket (don't you think it's cute).  That ticket was made with Art Philosophy cartridge, Typeface stamp set, and black ink all from Close To My Heart!

"Inspired by Sweethaven Homecoming"

I came across this great book called Sweethaven and then I found this great blog by Courtney Walsh and I just had to participate in the scrapbook challenge.  By the way she is giving away some great prizes to the winner.  These prizes had nothing to do with me wanting to enter the challenge.  The intense feeling that I should enter was overwhelming so, tonight I sat down and created what I call "At Peace". 

This place is Greenwich Pond.  Jay brought me here on our first date so, he could share the beauty of this special place.  About 3 years later after that first date we got married at Greenwich Pond.  This place truly makes me feel closer to God.  It is a great place to simply relax and take in all the wonderful creations God has created for us to enjoy.  It's our escape and simply our special place.

I hope you enjoy my page that was "Inspired by Sweethaven Homecoming" and my journaling - My journaling is truly new for this page.  It is a combination of doodling and have I lost my mind by journaling straight on the layout.  But, I did it, I like it and I love it!
